Sheep Yards

The sheep yards with double deck loading ramp have been made and positioned on the layout. You can view a pic under Lineside and Details in the menu.

Signals

The Searchlight and Switch Stand signals info and pics have been included under Lineside & Details in the menu.

At Noarlunga M/Railroaders MR Exhibition 2014

The exhibition was held on 4th & 5th of October. The layout is now almost 7m long. More progress has been made on the Bridges module (see picture under Bridges in the menu above). The new 'Adelaide' Fiddle Yard is on the extreme right.  A pic of the 1200mm long fiddle yard can be viewed by selecting Track in the menu above.

Start of Scenery Work

Scenery has been started for the station surrounds.  Stage 1 is ground cover.

Ground cover scenery for the loco facilities area is almost complete. Note the operable Switch Stand Signal adjacent to the turnout beside the loco shed.

You can view the progress up close and personal if you visit the Noarlunga Model Railroaders MR Exhibition on the 4th & 5th of October (Sat & Sun of long-weekend).

 Although the layout was still a work in progress, it created considerable interest from the public.

Goods Shed Completed
